Affiliate disclosure
Laundry Choice earns commission from qualifying purchases made through links on this site. This page explains how that works and what it does and does not influence.
The short version
Links to Amazon carry an affiliate tag. If you follow one and buy something, Amazon pays us a small percentage. You pay the same price you would have paid otherwise — the commission comes out of Amazon’s margin, not out of your pocket.
Amazon Associates
Laundry Choice is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
What it does not influence
Commission does not affect what a review says about a washer or dryer. A review is written from the manufacturer’s published specifications, and those figures are the same whether or not the link beside them earns anything. A dryer that needs a 240-volt outlet needs a 240-volt outlet; the review says so, and if that rules it out for your flat, the review says that too.
No manufacturer has paid for a review or for placement, and none has been given the opportunity to. We do not accept sponsored reviews, paid inclusion, or free samples — the last of which would be moot, since we do not test.
Prices and availability
We do not publish prices. They change constantly, and a figure captured when a review was written would be wrong by the time you read it. The price you see on Amazon when you follow a link is the price.
How the links are built
The affiliate tag is applied when a page is rendered, from a single value stored once in the site’s configuration. It can be changed without editing any review, and every link on the site changes with it.
Outbound affiliate links are marked with the sponsored attribute, the signal search engines ask publishers to use for commissioned links.
Accessories and supplies
Until September 2026 this site also reviewed heating elements, timer knobs, lint traps, indoor vent kits, drive belts, drain hoses, door props, a cover mat and a food dehydrator, and those pages carried affiliate links too. We have since removed them from search indexing because they are not what this site is about. The pages still exist and still carry their links; they are disclosed here for that reason.
Why this matters to you
Affiliate income is how this site is funded, and you are entitled to know that when you read it. The alternatives — sponsored placement, paid inclusion, manufacturer relationships — all put pressure directly on the thing a review is for.
