Washing machines, portable washers, clothes dryers and portable dryers, each reviewed from the manufacturer’s published specifications — capacity in cubic feet or pounds, spin speed, cycles, energy use, venting, voltage and the dimensions that decide whether it fits. We do not physically test washers or dryers, and every review says so.
